Ingredients

  • 480 g green lentils
  • 2 pores
  • 2 onions
  • 3 small carrots
  • 1 large potato
  • 2 peeled cloves of garlic
  • 1 tbsp. crushed green pepper (15 g)
  • 750 ml of water
  • 1 bay leaf
  • 3 tbsp. olive oil (45 g)
  • 1 tbsp. salt (15 g)
  • 1 pinch crushed black pepper

Cooking

  1. The first thing you need to do is  wash all the vegetables thoroughly. Especially the potatoes because they are a tuber and in general they have a lot of dirt on them.
  2. To make the recipe, chop the carrots, onions, garlic and bay leaf into fine pieces. You can cut the rest of the vegetables into slightly larger pieces.
  3. Next, put all the ingredients in a large saucepan and pour the water in. If you want something more soupy, you can add more water.
  4. Let it heat until it boils. Stir constantly so that you are sure that the vegetables are softening up and that nothing is sticking.
  5. Finally, let it stand a little longer on the heat, for about 20-30 minutes, and keep stirring.
  6. Turn off the heat when the lentils and vegetables have softened.
  7. Eat and enjoy!
