To make this soup, simply combine seafood, fish and vegetables.

  1. First, clean the cod and cut it into medium-sized pieces.
  2. Peel the mussels and store both mussels and cod in the fridge.
  3. Remember that the best from the sea is fresh and not frozen, because then it will take longer to cook.
  4. Peel and cut all the vegetables into small pieces and sauté them with the garlic in a pan with just a little extra virgin olive oil.
  5. Then add the seafood. Start with shrimp and cod. Get the mussels in as the last thing. Saute until all ingredients are golden brown.
  6. Then pour the fish stock into a saucepan and heat it over medium heat and add all the previous ingredients that you have cooked.

  • To make the potatoes and carrots more tender, you can add them to the stock instead of sautéing them along with the other vegetables.
  • You can also use other elements from the sea, such as squid and oysters.
  • If you have a pressure cooker, you will be able to save a lot of time.
  • Another trick to make your seafood soup more flavorful is to marinate the fish. To do this, use a little white wine, garlic and spices and put it in the fridge for at least three hours.
